Remote-Controlled Cams at Record-Setter
Innovative camera operations, configurations, and positionings were an integral part of the World Record Wedding Video Event organized by the Sacramento Professional Videographers Association (SPVA) and co-sponsored by the Wedding & Event Videographers Association International (WEVA) in February.

Remote-controlled set-ups for the shoot were supplied and coordinated by Grizzly Pro Video. The dedicated involvement shows how industry innovators like Grizzly Pros CEO Phil Jensen, are working closely with professional wedding videographers to develop custom technology that facilitates unobtrusive coverage.

In this WEVA NEWS MINUTE video, produced on-location by Bruce Himmelblau and Sue Lawson, Jensen shows how the Grizzly Pro r-THREE system allowed unmanned ceremony cameras to be positioned discreetly, and operated remotely, during the world record-setting event.

The remote-control system includes:

1 - r-THREE System Controller
1 - r-THREE Interface box
1 - 3 r-THREE PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) Heads
1 -100' cable per PTZ head. Connects PTZ head to Interface box.
Connecting cable from Interface box to Controller
Connecting cable from camera to PTZ head
12v power supply - uses wall power and a standard 4-pin XLR connector to interface box. The system can also be operated from 12-24vdc light belt.

For more information on the r-THREE and the company's other remote-control systems visit Grizzly Pro Video.

Sarasota, FL - This year 8th Annual WEVA Town Meeting Tour is the catalyst for brand new online video programming that the Wedding & Event Videographers Association International (WEVA) will be presenting for videographers worldwide on WEVA-TV.

Streaming video now in production for WEVA-TV channels range from new WEVA NEWS MINUTE videos that spotlight cutting-edge technology and production techniques, to the new on-location interview program called Nat Chat hosted by Philadelphia videographer and WEVA Public Relations Committee member Natalie Neal.

While some of the new programs now in production will be available for public viewing during a limited time, most will be uploaded directly to WEVA-TV channels in the members-only section of the association website.

See the first Nat Chat episode recorded at the WEVA Town Meeting in Philadelphia last month at www.weva.com. The first episode in the new series was shot and edited by veteran videographer Robert Neal. Natalie chats with videographers who are developing new concepts using portable bridal video, wedding still prints from HD video, Love Story add-ons, and implementing new creativity picked-up from attending the WEVA event in Philadelphia.

Developed by WEVA to start with the 2006 Town Meeting Tour, Nat Chat will be a light and lively way to talk with WEVA members on-location across the country to find out what's up and what's new!

Anyone who's seen Natalie speak at Wedding & Event Video Expo or on the WEVA Town Meeting Tour knows how much fun she injects into every presentation, said WEVA International Chairman Roy Chapman.

Natalie's new Nat Chat series for WEVA-TV will be putting WEVA International members in the spotlight in a way we couldn do before broadband hit market penetration. It's a new twist on industry networking and idea-sharing. Natalie is hosting it, so right there you know it's going to be a lot of fun, and very spontaneous. The episodes will be shot at various locations and feature lots of our members."
